Creepy?
I'm on San Mateo Ave. "The Avenue" in San Bruno. This was taken outside of a hair salon for kids. Is the guy in the left picture creepy-looking? I say yes, but you be the judge. I'm really here to go to the Scrapbook Nook, which will certainly put a dent in my pocketbook. ...Do people say "pocketbook" anymore?

Extra Innings
Well, THIS is just great.
Not the game going into extras, that's fine. But as you can see, the gnats have decided to make an appearance.
This is crazy. I don't think I've ever seen this many of them here like this, but it's also usually not this warm this late.

Bad Pun of the Week
In other news, I only recently checked out the mental_floss website and found quizzes, which I absolutely love. I'm posting one result here just because I like the name so much:

I Heart Typos
Sign at Little Caesar's. We were there picking up a bunch of $5 pizzas (which totally taste like $5 pizza, but we have a bunch of teenagers coming over tonight, so...). There was this one lady a couple of people ahead of us in line who grabbed all of the napkins on the front counter, asked the girl ringing her up if they had any more, and when the girl reloaded the box with napkins, she took all of those too. To top it off, she didn't leave a tip. What a loser. There was a really good chance she was the one with the crappy park job too, though I'm not one to talk about park jobs. Or driving, even.

Kiddie Clothes?
It seems like half the time I look for little girls' clothes, I end up disturbed. The designs just don't make sense sometimes. At this particular store, they had some decent/cute stuff for infants, but once you got into toddler sizes, there's all this hoochie stuff. I don't know about you, but if I had a daughter, I wouldn't be dressing her that way. I just don't get it.

Ew.

I saw this today on the path next to the railroad tracks. I don't know exactly what it was--maybe something about how it was positioned just so, or the fork sitting inside--that made me want to take this picture. I was on my way to get an egg salad sandwich, but after seeing that...I lost my appetite for a little while.
