Macy's!
Goodness, look at all these colors of KitchenAid mixers. I'd love one. No room for it though, and sadly, I don't bake enough to warrant having one.

I'm on San Mateo Ave. "The Avenue" in San Bruno. This was taken outside of a hair salon for kids. Is the guy in the left picture creepy-looking? I say yes, but you be the judge. I'm really here to go to the Scrapbook Nook, which will certainly put a dent in my pocketbook. ...Do people say "pocketbook" anymore?

I received ten free mini-cards from MOO for signing up for a Flickr pro account, so I picked out five of my pictures. The two on the left were taken near where I work, and the ones on the right are donut marks from a parking lot, a shot in the classical Chinese garden in Vancouver and seagulls in Sausalito. The three on the right are definite winners if I make any more, and I probably will, I'm just not sure what information I'll put on the back--for this set, I have my name, address and myspace address with my framboise drawing as the decoration. It took some time to get here since MOO is based in the UK, but it was worth it. I like the quality and will buy products from them in the future.

Since Final Fantasy IV was re-released in Japan on the Nintendo DS (and hopefully will come out stateside soon enough), a bunch of promotional goodies came out, like this badass mini figure set. I ordered mine over at HobbyLink Japan. What you're actually ordering is a box of nine figures. Obviously, there will be extras, but you're guaranteed to get a complete set in the box. Most of the sites that I've come across are selling them this way as opposed to selling single figures. Anyway, they're tiny, detailed, and extremely cute, making them an excellent addition to my collection of tchotchkes. :D

Welcome to the 2008 edition of my office flair. This isn't all of it, but I wanted to point out some of my newer acquisitions. From left to right:
-The R2-D2 toy has been featured before; it's a Japanese import that I bought online, I forget where now.
-The jellyfish lamp was a purchase from ThinkGeek.
-The sunglasses are the Oakley Grapevine model. They're also not flair, but they're in the picture, so...
-The picture I bought from a friend of mine who does that stuff on the side...I don't think he has a website yet, otherwise I'd link to it. The frame I got from Target.
-The notepad is from the Anne Taintor collection.

They're so...cute. If only they fit. :P They almost do, I just have an instep issue with them, and since this is the largest size they come in...well...I'm going to have to have a few break-in sessions and pretty much make them fit. (Or buy those things that you stick in shoes to break them in. That would probably be a good investment.) I have a few other pairs of shoes by this brand, and those all fit me, but none of them have backs.

A number of recent events have left me somewhat depressed...so today during my lunch break I went to a very dangerous place known as the second floor of Draeger's, where I found the super cute pen you see here. I didn't notice the added bonus until the end of the day, when I looked at the receipt and noticed it had been rung up as "light up duck":

I only seem to buy purses (costing more than, say, $25) when I get a gift card for Macy's or Nordstrom or something like that from my work...I get one from them every year. I like looking at the more expensive purses--the fish and coral Coach designs were cute--but I'd never buy them. I'm just not a high-end label girl. Anyway, this is my latest purchase. The style is called "Fairfax Shopper" and it's by Fossil. I adore it. I ended up paying around $10 after using the gift card. Yay!
