I'm not too sure about that. You be the judge. Somehow it's especially appropriate to be posting this picture since today's Talk Like a Pirate Day. (No, I did not actually talk like a pirate today.)

Taylor Middle School, Millbrae. I've never been quite sure why this word was here, but my father told me that he always figured it was there to alert people not to run. Since this precedes a steep decline, it makes sense.

Stop, Look, Wave

New paint has been popping up on some of the intersections in San Bruno. (This picture was taken near San Bruno Park last weekend.) The first one I noticed was in my neighborhood the day I left for Sausalito. Has this been going on anywhere else, or is this just something my city decided to do?
