Sausalito

I'm here, kids! The view is lovely, but other than that I'm not sure what I think of the place just yet.

Another Japanese Snack Review

This time we're looking at "kinoko no yama", which means "mountain of mushrooms" or "mushroom mountain" or however you'd like to phrase it. This snack is similar to Pocky, except that it's a much shorter stick with a thick section of chocolate shaped like a mushroom cap. Comes in a bunch of flavors, too, so if you like Pocky, you'd like these. They're very cute. One of my friends said they'd be good to have on a cake, and I'd definitely agree with that.

Old Drawing Revisited

Go ahead, click on it!

So...I think maybe I should get into drawing again. You'll notice, if you look at my profile now, that the image is a (quickly, poorly done) self-portrait. I rarely wear novelty t-shirts, but I seem to like using them when I draw myself, maybe to say, "This is how I feel right now." [edit: my profile image has since changed] Anyway, I drew the above self-portrait over a year ago. It links to a comic I made. It's mostly stick figures because it's really hard for me to draw guys, they either turn out too feminine or just wrong somehow. The other character in the comic refers to someone that I know. I tried drawing him once. He looked like Monchichi...hence the stick figures.

New Shoes

Name: Madrigal
Brand: Dansko
Color: Plum

They're so...cute. If only they fit. :P They almost do, I just have an instep issue with them, and since this is the largest size they come in...well...I'm going to have to have a few break-in sessions and pretty much make them fit. (Or buy those things that you stick in shoes to break them in. That would probably be a good investment.) I have a few other pairs of shoes by this brand, and those all fit me, but none of them have backs.
