Sweet Tie
Taken from the Sharks-Isles postgame interview with Ted Nolan the other day. I actually do like the pattern and colors...

More Model Home Fun
Same city, different development. This is worse than the previous one in that there are windows from another house right there. Is this a "in" thing with the homes being built now, like kitchen islands?

Model Home Fun
Photo taken at a model home in San Bruno, California.
What's up with the giant window next to the bathtub? I mean, I guess the view is nice, but...it leaves one a bit exposed, yes?

Crossover
I call it "crossover" because this post really belongs over on through the back loop, but due to some computer issues, this is the only way I can post pictures right now. Anyway, I bought this yarn for a going-away-scarf project, and while it was pretty as a hank, I'm not quite sold on the colorway as it looks here. We'll see how it goes. I'll post the finished scarf over on the other blog once it's done.

Office Flair 2008
Welcome to the 2008 edition of my office flair. This isn't all of it, but I wanted to point out some of my newer acquisitions. From left to right:
-The R2-D2 toy has been featured before; it's a Japanese import that I bought online, I forget where now.
-The jellyfish lamp was a purchase from ThinkGeek.
-The sunglasses are the Oakley Grapevine model. They're also not flair, but they're in the picture, so...
-The picture I bought from a friend of mine who does that stuff on the side...I don't think he has a website yet, otherwise I'd link to it. The frame I got from Target.
-The notepad is from the Anne Taintor collection.
